Each black tea in the collection is from throughout the world and is of high quality. Leaves are picked at peak season and expertly kept to provide quality teas.

• The Balmoral Blend: Our journey begins with a mix that is similar to a Breakfast blend but with a twist. This blend was made specifically for the Royal Balmoral Estate and is offered to visitors in tourist facilities across the estate. The teas in the Balmoral Blend come from six distinct estates in Sri Lanka, India, and China. It's designed to make a strong, powerful cup of tea that's delicious on its own or with milk or lemon. Full, round bodied taste with mellow astringency.
• Borengajuli FBOP Assam Tea: Next, we travel to Assam, India, to the Borengajuli tea plantation, where a 2nd Flush, FBOP Assam, with a strong malty flavour is created. Borengajuli is a rich black tea that may be enjoyed alone or with milk. Full bodied, strong, malty, with jammy-like flavour.
• Margaret Hope TGFOP Darjeeling Tea: Continuing with 2nd Flush teas, we travel to Darjeeling, where one of our fan favourites, Darjeeling estate tea, Margaret's Hope TGFOP 2nd Flush, is grown at an elevation of 6800ft. When brewed, the leaves provide a tea with the distinct 'muscatel' taste generally associated with premium Darjeeling. Most people like to drink this superb tea without adding milk or lemon. Distinctive Muscatel character with slight astringency.
• Lapsang Souchong: A smokey black tea from China's Fujian Province with a distinct scent and flavour character. The leaves are dried over pinewood fires, yielding a full-bodied tea with a unique, crisp, smokey flavour that is best enjoyed simple.
• Superior Rose Congou: Rose Congou Superior black tea, lightly fragrant with rose petals, is a lighter choice. To appeal to the senses, the rose essence is enhanced with genuine rose oils and embellished with lovely rose petals. Medium bodied with the refreshing flavour of roses.
• Kuchipudi Masala Chai: Masala Chai, another time-honoured tea blend, rounds out the variety in our black tea gift box. Spices have always been associated with teas, and this chai combines classic chai spice with high-quality black tea. The mix is perfectly balanced to ensure that the black tea flavour is not overpowered by spice, and it may be prepared in the classic masala chai way with hot milk or drunk like black tea, with or without cold milk. Full bodied, masala spiced tea with cardamom and ginger.
