Balmoral Darjeeling Tea Blend
Introducing a brew quite literally fit for royalty! Jenier's Balmoral Darjeeling Blend was specially created at the request of the Balmoral Estates, drawing inspiration from a rather well-known preference: King Charles's enjoyment of Darjeeling tea with a touch of honey. The result is a blend that is both wonderfully familiar and delightfully unique, offering a truly distinguished cuppa. This blend has been a hit at Balmoral Estates and is sold and served at their visitor centres.
Jenier started with a high-quality 2nd Flush TGFOP Darjeeling from the famous Indian tea region, celebrated for its distinctive 'muscatel' character. To impart a delicate, natural sweetness without the honey pot, it was blended with the finest Grade A Honeybush leaves from Cederberg, South Africa. This inspired pairing creates a beautifully balanced and complex brew with a smooth, satisfying finish.
The resulting infusion is bright and light in the cup, a complex bouquet with hints of currants and muscat grapes. The taste is unmistakably Darjeeling, but with its slight astringency perfectly softened by the sweet, honeyed notes of the Honeybush. It's a refreshing, light-bodied tea that's perfect for an afternoon pick-me-up or whenever you fancy a taste of the royal treatment.
The Balmoral Darjeeling Tea Blend is also available in pyramid tea bags, which are also adorned with the Royal Balmoral Crest, adding to this truly exceptional tea.
